Workshop #1
Build an AI agent that knows your work. A hands-on Saturday morning in Flint, Michigan.
Exodus Labs is a hands-on AI training company in Flint, Michigan. It works with individuals, teams and small businesses, on real work.
I kept seeing the same fear in three places. Each time, what helped was the same: someone to show how, on real work.
They know AI matters. They don't know how or where it fits the code, data and systems they already own.
New tools land on their desk, with the expectation that they'll choose well and make them work.
They're starting careers in the middle of the change, often trusting output they can't check yet.
I've helped my team and cohorts through each of these. Exodus Labs exists to help people adapt, and to help teams and small businesses get real value from their AI tools and investment.
I'm Darryl Bryson. I studied at Kettering University here in Flint, and today I lead a data engineering team as a Senior Manager. Building with AI is part of that job.
My career started in engine calibration and powertrain engineering. From there I moved into BI and data architecture, building big data and cloud platforms on Hadoop and Azure at Fortune 100 companies.
I also spent three years as director of technology for a nonprofit foundation.
People at work come to me for help with AI, and I teach it to engineering teams there. Exodus Labs brings the same hands-on approach to anyone who wants it.
The rules I hold every session to.
Short demos, then your hands on the keyboard for most of the session.
Realistic synthetic knowledge bases, messy like the real thing. Never your company's data.
Every build comes with a test that shows whether its answers hold up.
Small cohorts, so you get real help when you're stuck.
No platform sales pitch. You learn patterns that carry across tools.
A hosted environment in your browser and your own capped model key. You take your work home.
Build an AI agent that knows your work. A hands-on Saturday morning in Flint, Michigan.
A pilot day on one of your team's real workflows, with a 30-day follow-up on what stuck.
